How can I lose weight and see real progress?
I used to fast to lose weight or use laxatives but I really just want to eat. I saw small amount of weight loss last time when I went on a low calorie diet. But it was slow. Maybe I need to be patient with it.
I was thinking of giving myself 4 weeks and trying to eat healthy food – but I don’t know what to do. I know what’s healthy and what isn’t. I will be doing 1 hour run on the treadmill daily. I am planning a low fat diet, with a lot of fruit as snacks and veg + salad. I will also have protein as I like meat, but little carbohydrate to help lose weight and it makes me feel bloated anyway.
Should I use appetite suppressants like adios or hoodia, I have tried these things before the hoodia just gave me headaches – do they really suppress appetite?
Are there any carbohydrate blockers that really work? I want stuff I can get over the counter not some crazy stuff that will make me sick.
Should I try alli, I know it’s pointless if I am not having fats but I think it will stop me from indulging in fatty foods.
Any ideas as to what else I can do and how I can lose.
I am 146 lbs now, 5’2 and trying to lose 26 lbs.

I am in the same position i am currently trying to loose weight myself so i am happy to help….
I mean i am using my Wii Fit which is proving brilliant for me i can be going on it daily and see 1lb-3lb change a day mind… however i am also changing my eating habbits if i am to have a biscuit i will have 3 instead of 5 or more i will have a packet of crisps every other day not everyday and one or more packets. Tbh over the counter meds can work but you also have to put some effort in to it yourself and can you really trust these meds ?

My doctor told me that the best way to lose weight properly is to eat less and never eat anything after 7pm. I found that if I brush my teeth after I eat my last meal that I won’t eat because I don’t want to have to brush my teeth again. Try it as it really works.
